EDUCATIONAL TRIP BY CBSE STUDENTS OF CAMBRIDGE INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, AGASTHIYARPATTI
As a part of an Activity for the lesson “Germination”, a field trip was organized to a nursery garden at Kadayam for students of Class 4 and 5 on 15.06.2017, Thursday during the school hours to learn about different kinds of plants. Students learnt about different kinds of flowers, their shape, size and fragrance. They understood the different stages of germination and saw more variety of fruit trees like custard apple, velvetta, guava, apple, cherry, etc. They were taught about grafting, a new method of growing plants. The students eagerly purchased more number of plants to grow in their garden. When the whole world is focusing on going green, this field trip was a small step that would inspire students to grow more plants for a better environment.
